Lighthouse -
Located in Nassau County of Long Island, New York
along its northern coast, in the Township of North
Hempstead. This 1877 brick lighthouse was built on underwater rocks that
were part of an old Indian legend. This lighthouse is visible from the Throgs Neck Bridge, but is best viewed by boat. |
