Special thanks to Alan Chester from Baldwin for this rare color photograph of Shinnecock Lighthouse, taken two months before it was knocked down by the Coast Guard. Alan inherited the photograph from his father-in-law who lived across the Shinnecock Canal and could view the lighthouse from his home.
