Partnership
with Suffolk County Parks Department Announced for the Restoration of the
Cedar Island Lighthouse
On Saturday, March 23,
2002 the Long Island Lighthouse Society and Suffolk County Parks Department
announced their partnership to preserve the Cedar Island lighthouse. A walk
to take a look inside the burned-out lighthouse followed the announcements
and presentations.
